FIDIC signs historical contact training agreement with leading European university

FIDIC signs first ever contract training agreement with King’s College London. Signed in 2019, this unique MOU with an European university allows for a collaboration where FIDIC contracts can be taught at the Centre of Construction Law during the summer months from 2020 onwards.

This training course will run for an initial one-week period and will provide executive education training for engineers, lawyers and other construction professionals. It will be run by leading practitioners whose focus will be on common and civil law legal frameworks and principles, as well as how they apply to FIDIC contract use.

The programme will not merely provide attendees with an overview of the various forms of FIDIC contracts but will also provide an in-depth analysis of how these contracts may be used from the outset. This will include a review of procurement systems and the legal systems within which these contracts are interpreted.
